A high school formal is a lot like a wedding; you only get one of them in your lifetime! So capturing it by a professional is a must! Andy has been photographing high school formals for over a decade so is well trained in capturing every moment.


With school formal photography, there is the option to have some personal photos at home before the event, or we can be the official photographer for your event! I have photographed Beaudesert's school formal for many years and captured Redeemer Luthernan College'ds formal last year at Sirromet.

Step 2: Confirmation of Availability, Quote, and Deposit

  • Once you've expressed your interest, we will check our availability for your event date and provide you with a formal quote based on your requirements.
  • Review the quote carefully, ensuring it includes all the services you discussed, such as coverage time, number of edited photos, any additional prints or albums, and any applicable travel fees.
  • If you're satisfied with the quote, proceed to confirm your booking by paying a deposit. The deposit amount is typically a percentage of the total fee and is required to reserve the photographer's services for your formal.
  • Discuss payment methods and deadlines to ensure a smooth transaction. Once the deposit is paid and confirmed, your formal event date will be secured on the photographer's calendar.


Step 3: Booking Confirmation and Establishing Schedule

  • After receiving your deposit, I will send you a booking confirmation outlining the agreed-upon services, schedule, and any additional details discussed.
  • Work closely with me to establish a precise timeline for the event day, including arrival and departure times, specific photo sessions and any breaks or downtime needed.
  • Finalize any remaining logistics, such as venue access, parking arrangements, and any special instructions.
  • Stay in communication with us leading up to the event to address any last-minute changes or concerns and ensure everything is set for a successful photography experience.
